Anna

Anna is a certified, professionally trained Labor & Postpartum Doula. She is a sweet, compassionate & people oriented person. She has always had the desire to serve others first. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and is currently learning Swahili. 

Her ability to love others unconditionally & intentionally stems from her mom, who is also a doula. She admires how selfless & caring she is, no matter what season of life she’s facing. 

She’s had the honor to serve in various parts of Africa with her husband. During one of her visits in Kenya, she was able to meet a young lady, who was much younger than Anna, pregnant and with a toddler. Her story was truly life changing for Anna. She quickly realized how community was so important during the the new transition in a mothers life, which led her to looking become a doula. 

Anna hopes to continue her education, and one day become a midwife. Additionally, she hopes to have a non-profit with her husband to serve women & children in Kenya. 

Anna & her husband have been together for 3 years. They love all things nature, history, mixed martial arts & fall activities. They hope to have 6 kids in the future! Adoption is a big desire of theirs.
