meet your doula

Natalia (Tally) is a certified, professionally trained Postpartum Doula and Educator serving the greater Houston area.

Tally is a kind, creative and compassionate person who has always had a passion for children and new families.  As a postpartum doula, Tally is warm, understanding, and knowledgeable. She wholeheartedly enjoys spending time with new parents and their babies. Her goal is to help new parents rest and heal after their birth so that they can enjoy their baby that much more. As a postpartum doula, Tally recognizes the impact that birth has on the postpartum experience and can “tune-in” to the individual needs of all family members. Tally’s strengths rely upon her ability to work with diverse populations. Tally wants her clients to know that she is

"...eager to help and provide them with any information they might need."

This is done by suggesting educational resources to help them understand the fourth trimester and to encourage them. Tally strives to achieve a woman’s ‘dream fourth trimester’ and have it be a fulfilling experience. She will share in your postpartum experience and promises her warm, supportive, and sunny disposition will prove to be invaluable after your birth!

Tally, who is also an art savant, graduated in 2021 from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in Art Education and a secondary degree in Fine Arts- Art History & Illustration. Shortly after, she moved to Houston, TX and pursued her dream career as a postpartum doula after almost a decade of nannying. As a postpartum doula, Tally has provided care to women and birth partners during their postpartum return.

Tally came to Brave Beautiful Beginnings with an extensive background in caretaking and education. It was Tally's nannying career that brought her to come to know about doulas and then later, to DONA International for her training and certification as a postpartum doula in 2022.

In the near future, Tally will be earning a holistic nutrition certification, as well as finding ways to incorporate her creativity into her daily work as a postpartum doula.

Tally’s favorite past times are spent outdoors, making art or burying her nose in a book. She loves hiking, meeting new people, going on adventures with her fur baby (Freya) and trying different foods.
