Elizabeth is a certified, professionally trained Labor & Postpartum Doula serving the greater Houston area.
Elizabeth has walked though some beautiful, difficult, and unique paths as a mother, a woman, a friend and a support person in the birth industry. These paths have brought her to a place of wanting to help all women know their strength and worth. Her personal experiences and those as a support person in the birth world have led her to become the doula she is today.
A doula who loves to research and to find those REAL answers.

Elizabeth has a background in Special Education which has provided her with a passion for true research, the skills to teach, a little extra patience and the ability to love ALL that she encounters.

I just couldn't figure out what it was until I became a mother myself. Ever since I became pregnant with my oldest, I have been so intrigued by the wonders of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. My personal experiences in those areas were traumatic and difficult to navigate with my first child..."

After the birth of her first child, Elizabeth yearned to learn more about what had transpired. When she became pregnant a second time, Elizabeth and her husband Isaac sought out someone to support them and answer their questions from an unbiased perspective. She hired a doula and began to immerse herself in learning about VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean).
After achieving her goal of VBAC, (yay!) Elizabeth's experience and her new found knowledge was drawing her deep into the birth world. It became clear to her that she was meant to become a doula.
Upon finding her calling, she immediately began researching doula certification organizations and went on to become a Certified Labor Doula through ProDoula Certification LLC. Elizabeth is also a certified Postpartum Doula. She is CPR Certified as well and is currently completing the requirement to become a Bereavement Doula.
Elizabeth is naturally a very loving person. She is understanding, compassionate and non-judgmental. Elizabeth is also an incredible resource with a thirst for knowledge and research. Her passion for her work and for her clients is incredible.
Elizabeth and her sweet husband, Isaac have been married for a little over 5 years and have lived in Houston almost as long. They have 4 beautiful children together. They love to go on walks, play on the beach and spend time together as a family.
